The IoT Portal Hub features a fully featured wireless alarm system. The alarm can be armed and disarmed using the app and/or wireless keypad. Up to 32 wireless zones can be added using the secure Zigbee protocol.

Access Control System

The IoT Portal Hub allows up to 32 temperature and humidity sensors to be wirelessly connected for accurate control of temperature in individual rooms. The Heating Setup Wizard allows any calling sensor the ability to switch on a central heating boiler. The individual room thermostats allow control of individual room temperature.

Works with electric or gas central heating systems.

Energy Monitoring

The IoT Portal Hub can accumulate the energy consumption from individual sockets or 'Smart Circuit Breakers' in order to totalise electrical energy consumption in the property.

Individual smart sockets or monitored circuits can be monitored for energy usage. Ideal for short stay rentals to monitor energy costs.

Home Automation

The IoT Portal Hub allows control of heating, lighting and smart sockets via the app or using conveniently placed wireless smart switches or keypads.

The app can easily be shared with guests making it ideal for short stay rentals such as Airbnb.

Integrated Web Connection

The IoT Portal Hub is securely connected to the App using its own mobile network web connection.  The IoT Portal Hub has connectivity via all UK mobile phone networks including the latest LTE-M and NB-IoT networks via its on-board eSIM.

All data travels through a secure VPN connection to the portal which means it cannot be infiltrated by users on the internal WiFi network or via the public internet.

Monitored by the Portal

All iot-portal devices are monitored by the cloud. Every 4 minutes the portal contacts the device to confirm it's working. If the device doesn't hear from the portal it automatically reboots itself. If the device goes missing for over an hour, an email and optional SMS message is sent to the Admin and Full Access phones and email addresses. 

Firmware updates are applied automatically by the portal when required. You can rest assured, if you keep it powered up, we'll keep it running!
